Reconditioning of Stainless Steel Surgical Instruments: Dilute one part Restore Sheen™ Rust & Stain Remover to six parts hot water (or 1 Oz. per gallon hot water) in a stainless steel tray. Open clean instruments and completely immerse in diluted solution for 20 minutes or for 15 minutes in a fully heated ultrasonic washer. Severely stained instruments may require up to 30 minutes of soak time. Remove and rinse with water. If needed, treat again by scrubbing with Restore Sheen™ Rust & Stain Remover, then rinsing thoroughly with water. Severely stained instruments may require a second treatment. Restore Sheen™ Rust & Stain Remover Dilute one part Restore Sheen™ Rust & Stain Remover to five parts hot water (100-130°F). Brush stains and rust away with stiff brush and hot solution.
